Our standard pricing structure is listed below. By using this standard we are able to provide accurate up-front quotes for complete web site design and maintenance. All page rates include:

• E-Mail/ Phone Consultation. Up to two hours marketing strategy and web design consultation. Telephone long distance charges are in addition to package rates quoted.

• Words of Text. 200 Words per page approximate maximum if not supplied via diskette. Web sites of more than 1,200 words may be subject to additional fees if they require a great deal of formatting.

• Links to external pages, up to an average of 3 per page.

• Custom Graphics Package. Masthead graphic on front page (simple custom graphic incorporating company logo.) Top-of-page graphic for all other pages in your web site. Color coordinated buttons, bars and/or  background.

• Photos and Other Miscellaneous Graphic Images (in addition to masthead graphic and top-of-page graphics) to be supplied by client and included at an average of 2 per page.

• Installation of web pages to a hosting server.  If you have not already arranged hosting space, we can recommend and/or set up space for you.

• Minor Updates and Changes to existing web pages for thirty days from date of completion.

• Site Publicity to at least a dozen web search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Excite, WebCrawler, Lycos, HotBot and the Open Source Directory.

• E-Mail Response Link  to any e-mail address that you designate.

• Navigational Links on each web page to facilitate ease of viewing and navigation of the site.

Design rates per page are based on the complexity of each individual design. Those sites that require fewer design obstacles are always quoted at a lower per page price than those which require extensive lay-outs or special programming, such as special forms, animations, JavaScript, animations or ActiveX. Our site would be an example of a simple web site with an average cost of $100.00 per page. Compared to newspaper advertising which costs upwards of $400.00 for a 2" x 4" ad and reaches a limited audience area, the Internet has the potential to reach an unlimited market area for what is, basically a one time set-up fee.

Southern Design can also aide you with registering a unique domain name (such as yourcompany.com) and in your choice of of an Internet Service Provider to host your new web site. We only recommend those providers with whom we have had personal experience and with whom we (and our clients) have received exemplary service and dependability.

Southern Design will reserve the right to embed/display a link somewhere on the main page of the site designed to give credit and a link back to advertise Southern Design as the page designer and Southern Design must remain embedded in the html source code as long as the client uses or displays the html source code written and copywrited by Southern Design. You will maintain all copyright for your furnished content and graphics.  Design fees not paid within 14 days of billing may subject content written by Southern Design to be removed from the Internet until such a time as payment is made in full.  To view our design contract in its entirety, click here.
